Emily Krzyzewski Center & Justice Theater Project
Drama Camp: July 31-August 12, 2017

Camp Description:

For two weeks, students work with professional theater instructors from the Justice Theater Project studying acting, stage movement, improvisation, character development, dance, and production including costumes, makeup, and props.

This year campers will audition, be cast, and rehearse a role for the fully mounted production of Disney's Lion King, Jr. which culminates in two performances for family and friends.

Camp Info

  • The camp schedule is Monday – Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Early morning (8:00 am - 9:00 am) and afternoon (4:00 pm - 5:00 pm) childcare is available for campers at no extra charge.
  • Final performances will take place on Friday, August 11th and Saturday, August 12th, 2017.

Scholarship Opportunity:

Thanks to generous supporters, the Emily K Center is able to provide a limited number of partial scholarships for our camps. To apply for a scholarship, please complete the entire scholarship portion of the online registration. Additional information may be requested by the scholarship committee. All scholarship decisions will be made and applicants will be informed within two weeks.

Scholarships are only granted for up to 50% of the cost of camp. If you are granted a partial scholarship, the remaining balance must be paid on or prior to June 23, 2017 to ensure your acceptance in the camp.

Refund Policy:

Full refunds minus a $20 processing fee will be made for cancellations more than two weeks before the first day of camp. For cancellations after that deadline, partial refunds will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
